SMUD offices closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
SMUD offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 20:

SMUD's 24-hour electric outage number, 1-888-456-SMUD (7683) will continue operating throughout the holidays. If power goes out, customers should notify SMUD immediately. In the event of an electrical problem, customers should be prepared to give their address, phone number, nearest cross street and a brief description of the problem.
