LAS VEGAS, Nev. - NV Energy has released two new educational videos designed to help customers better understand and use the company's daily demand web tool, a new online resource that provides personalized insights into household energy use and projected bill impacts ahead of the January 2027 implementation of daily demand.
The videos offer customers step-by-step guidance on how to navigate the web tool and identify opportunities to better manage their energy use. Data shows most customers will see little to no change in their monthly bill and many will see a decrease.
A short video provides a quick overview of the tool and its key features, while a longer version takes a deeper dive into the data and resources available to customers.

The daily demand web tool, available through customers' online NV Energy accounts, provides:
For some customers, those peak demand periods may occur when several large energy-using devices are operating at the same time, such as air conditioning systems, electric vehicle chargers, pool pumps, or other major appliances.
By providing greater visibility into these patterns, the tool helps customers make informed decisions about when and how they use energy. In some cases, simple adjustments, such as shifting the use of certain appliances to different times of day, may help reduce daily demand and lower monthly energy costs.
NV Energy emphasizes that daily demand is not a rate increase. The daily demand web tool was developed to help customers understand the change before it takes effect and provide them with resources to make informed decisions about their energy use.
Customers can access the daily demand web tool today by logging into their NV Energy online account and selecting Energy Insights.
