Major: I am currentlyt enrolled in the Master's program in Information Technology.
Why did you choose to attend Frostburg State University?
I was born in Cameroon, and at the age of 9 I came to the United States and have been living in Prince George's County ever since. Frostburg chose me, and I wanted to be far from home but still in the state of Maryland.
What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
I've was involved within several organizations on campus within different roles, and I'm currently the main photographer at FSU right now capturing everything from sports, graduations, organization and school events, and more. I am also part of the intramural games (football and basketball to be specific) in which my team have won several championships under my brand name Golden Motive, and this is my last run so I'm going all in for another title.
What is your favorite memory as a student?
My favorite memory as a student is inspiring, motivating, and uplifting those around me.
Which faculty and/or staff member has influenced you as a student?
I would be lying if I said there was just one staff/faculty member who has influenced me as a student. All of them showed me different ropes in life through the different ways they operate in their profession, and I'm truly grateful for some of the experiences and the knowledge soaked in throughout my time at the 'Burg.
What advice would you give to a student currently studying your major?
One piece of advice I would give a student currently studying my major is don't be afraid to take on new challenges and embrace new opportunities.
Tell us about a class or activity at FSU that has had a surprising effect on your life.
Taking over the Creative Minds organization really had a surprising effect on my life as it opened a lot of doors for others, and we accomplished a lot. Also, being involved with the marketing club gave me the opportunity to go to China and experience a different culture while promoting Frostburg and recruiting international students.
What is a cause dear to your heart?
A cause dear to my heart will be giving back to the future of Frostburg through different avenues for the next generation to come.
What do you do for fun?
For fun I play basketball and listen to music.
