Commission Awards Contracts for Southeast District Projects
SIKESTON - The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on March 4.
- An $11,150,329 contract was awarded to Fronabarger Concreters, Inc., for widening the roadway, adding a center turn lane and constructing a roundabout at Notre Dame Drive on Route K in Cape Girardeau County.

A $2,531,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company for the following:
- Resurfacing Route 34 from Route 21 to near the Wayne County line in Reynolds County, and;
- Resurfacing and adding shoulders on Route D from .5 miles north of County Road 123 to Business 60 in Carter County.
Additional information, regarding timelines and impacts to traffic, will be released prior to the start of construction.
