COLUMBUS - The Ohio Jewish Caucus today announced their recent town hall event hosted nearly 100 members of the community including local elected officials, Jewish community leaders, and members of the media.
"We are proud to have hosted this meaningful event. Conversations like these strengthen our collaboration and help ensure we can continue working together to improve the lives of all Ohioans, making our state a place where our constituents want to stay, work, and raise their families," said members of the Ohio Jewish Caucus. "Now more than ever, as we continue to see antisemitism and hate spread across our country, it is important that we, as Jewish members of the Ohio Legislature, come together for thoughtful and candid conversation about the issues facing our communities. In light of yesterday's attack on a synagogue in Michigan, we are reminded how real these threats remain and how vital strong security is for protecting Jewish institutions. We are deeply grateful to the dedicated security professionals at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, Mandel Jewish Community Center, and law enforcement personnel from the City of Beachwood for their ongoing commitment, helping ensure we could gather safely."
The Ohio Jewish Caucus is proudly represented by Reps. Beryl Brown Piccolantonio (D-Gahanna), Dani Isaacsohn (D-Cincinnati), Christine Cockley (D-Columbus), Eric Synenberg (D-Beachwood), Karen Brownlee (D-Symmes Township) and Senator Casey Weinstein (D-Hudson).
