DEN Invites Artists to Apply to Rotating Sculpture Program

DENVER - Aug. 22, 2025 - Denver International Airport (DEN) is inviting artists to apply to showcase one of their existing sculptures within the DEN campus. DEN's rotating sculpture program is a public art incubator for artists in varying stages of their career to gain experience with the complexities of installing and displaying art in an airport environment. Seasoned artists with airport experience are also encouraged to apply. Rotating sculptures will biannually be selected through a competitive selection process for six-month rotations.

"Our renowned art program is part of what makes DEN unique. Our rotating sculptures generate interest and conversation for our local community, our passengers and aviation partners through creative placemaking and storytelling. We look forward to seeing the creativity and ingenuity of artists displayed at DEN," said DEN CEO Phil Washington.

Sculptures should seek to create a sense of place, elevate the customer experience and create a memorable impression for travelers and staff. Concourse B East has been selected as 2025's inaugural site for this art opportunity.

The application period will run Aug. 22 through Sept. 21 and can be found at https://www.flydenver.com/at-the-airport/art/opportunities/. This program is open to all artists internationally. An optional information session will be held on Sept. 5 from 12-1 p.m. The selected artist will receive an honorarium for their work.
