Shepard House Turns 100

The James E. and Annie Day Shepard House, 1902 Fayetteville Street, was constructed in 1925. It was the home of the university founder and is the oldest building on the campus of North Carolina Central University(NCCU). The Shepard house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

On the centennial of its construction, Andre Vann, university archivist, explains the history and significance of the Shepard House in the above video.
