In honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, on 28 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, led a delegation of Ambassadors and representatives from 43 countries and the European Union, together with their spouses and members of the media, in the MFA Outreach Programme under the theme "The Legacy of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother - Weaving Heritage, Culture and Sustainability", in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.

On this occasion, the delegation visited: (1) the Arts of the Kingdom Museum, which showcases exquisite works created by the artisans of the Sirikit Institute. Each piece of work was created by skillful hands of children of poor farmers in remote areas, who were trained into master artisans of the Sirikit Institute. This is the testimony to the vision and commitment of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother to human development; (2) the Khon Learning Centre, operated by the SUPPORT Foundation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother - Khon, Thailand's highest classical dance-drama, was inscribed by UNESCO in 2018 on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity; and (3) the SUPPORT Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand (Public Organisation), or SACIT, the principal institution responsible for the creative development and advancement of Thai arts and crafts products, under the supervision of the Ministry of Commerce.

During the visit to Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, the delegation was welcomed by senior officials from relevant organisations, namely Mr. Chavanin Wongsatitjirakarl, Governor of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province; the executive management of the Sirikit Institute; Admiral Sumpao Polathorn, Superintendent of the Khon Learning Centre; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Anucha Theerakanont, Director of SACIT.
