On 6 September, the European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA) welcomed local residents and community officials to its headquarters in Yeghegnadzor for an Open Day event aimed at deepening connections with the local community.

Hundreds of local residents attended the Open Day, turning the event into a vibrant celebration. Guests were invited to tour the EUMA headquarters, located in the former university building. Local residents had a chance to meet with EUMA mission members to learn more about the Mission's work. Children enjoyed balloons and ice cream as they explored the Mission's vehicles. The event also celebrated cultural exchange, with a performance from the local Armat Dance Studio.

EUMA Head of Mission Markus Ritter said:

''I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the hospitality the Mission has received during its two and a half years in the region. Yeghegnadzor has become our home and we have formed strong bonds with the residents.''

EUMA hopes the Open Day will further strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation with the people of Yeghegnadzor and looks forward to hosting more similar events in the future.
