U.S. Chamber Endorses Rep. Scott Peters for California's Fiftieth Congressional District

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Rep. Scott Peters for California's Fiftieth Congressional District. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.

"Congressman Scott Peters is a consistent champion for San Diego small businesses and willing to work across the aisle to advance commonsense, pro-growth policies," said Jennings Imel, Vice President at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. "From leading bipartisan efforts on permitting reform to working with the local business community to tackle workforce challenges, Congressman Peters is committed to delivering results for job creators and hard-working families. The U.S. Chamber is proud to endorse Congressman Peters for reelection to California's 50th congressional district."

"The impact of Child Care reaches far beyond one family. It gives parents the freedom to pursue their dreams, helps businesses thrive, strengthens Child Care providers, and creates opportunity throughout our community," said Alessandra Lezama, Founder and CEO of TOOTRiS. "Congressman Peters sees that bigger picture, and we're grateful for his commitment to San Diego families and his efforts to expand Child Care access for our first responders. We strongly support Congressman Peters and are pleased the U.S. Chamber is endorsing his reelection to Congress."
