AWS Announces New Energy Industry Workflows for Amazon Quick

[Media Alert] HOUSTON - September 17, 2026 - AWS today announced a new set of ready-to-use AI workflows for Amazon Quick, the AI assistant built for work, designed specifically for energy and utilities customers. These workflows give energy professionals easy access to insights and actions tailored to their sector - from grid planning and asset management to drilling exploration - without custom development. Powered by MCP-connected integrations from more than a dozen partners across the energy industry, Quick allows energy customers to pull data from across their business into a single tool that can make recommendations and quickly implement solutions.

Energy companies frequently operate in data silos, with critical decisions requiring coordination across a dozen systems, multiple disciplines, and weeks of manual assembly. Quick draws on deep expertise from industry partners to help users close that gap. It connects directly to customer data sources across core energy workflows - production monitoring, grid operations, asset maintenance, compliance tracking, and energy trading. The result is unified access and actionable insights from a single interface. Quick connects to a customer's data source and bridges the context needed to help with tasks like scheduling maintenance orders, routing outage workflows, and updating compliance records, helping compress what can often take weeks into hours.

"Quick stands out because of the depth of industry expertise behind the AI," said Joseph Santamaria, general manager, Energy & Utilities at AWS. " Every partner integration adds another layer of domain knowledge, from subsurface interpretation to grid operations and production optimization. Our customers are drawing on decades of specialized energy industry expertise through a single interface. They're getting insights and putting them to work."

The new energy workflows in Quick include partner integrations from leading energy experts including Accenture, Bidgely, Dynamic Graphics, Inc., EPAM, Hitachi Digital Services, IBM, Infosys, MetricsIQ, Minfy Technlogies, Petrabytes, Seeq, Slalom, S&P Global, Tiger Data, wAIw, technology partners like Infosys, and more.

These new tools are available for Quick users in the energy sector. Request access through your account manager or at aws.amazon.com/energy-utilities/.
