European Researchers' Night 2026: A Journey Through Research at IULM

To mark the European Researchers' Night, IULM showcases itself through its projects and research centers.

Research at IULM stems from the convergence of different disciplines, areas of expertise, and perspectives.

Humanities, Communication, Arts and Media, Business, Law, Economics, and Consumer Studies: three departments dedicated to research where scholarly output is developed through an interdisciplinary approach, fostering dialogue among the humanities, communication, technology, the arts, sustainability, economics, and society.

It is precisely this ability to connect diverse fields of knowledge that represents one of the distinctive features of the IULM model, also identified in the 2025-2027 Strategic Plan as key to addressing major contemporary transformations: from artificial intelligence to new media ecosystems, from shifts in consumption patterns to the challenges of sustainability, and on to the cultural evolutions that are redefining the way we live and communicate.

On the occasion of the European Researchers' Night, IULM showcases a scientific community that contributes every day to understanding the present and building the future, placing the cross-pollination of knowledge, innovation, and social responsibility at the heart of its mission.
