City Close Offices in Observance of Veterans Day Holiday

City of Syracuse administrative offices will be closed in observance of the Veterans Day holiday on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Trash and recycling collection will operate according to the regular schedule, which can be viewed at syr.gov/trash-recycling.
The Department of Public Works yard waste self-drop off site, located at 1200 Canal Street, will be closed. Emergency public works services can be reported to 315-448-8360. Cityline offices will be closed for calls, but residents can still submit service requests to via the SYRCityline app or online at syr.gov/cityline.
Metered parking downtown will be free on Tuesday.
