Rep. Michelle Au to Host Concert with Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra and Mikaela Ayira at the Georgia State Capitol

ATLANTA - State Representative Michelle Au (D-Johns Creek) will host a concert featuring members of the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra, led by new music director Henry Cheng, along with Johns Creek native and The Voice Top 20 finalist Mikaela Ayira on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 12 p.m. at the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta, Georgia.

The concert will highlight the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra for being chosen to travel to Vietnam for an international tour, joining the New York Philharmonic and the Minnesota Orchestra as one of only a few American orchestras to perform in the country over the past 20 years.

The concert will feature a string quartet from the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra with a young artist in residence, performing selections including "Pizzicato Vietnam" by Đặng Hữu Phúc, K-pop selections (BTS X Beethoven), Mikaela Ayira's new single Disguise and additional selections.

Founded in 2007, the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra is the only professional orchestra serving North Fulton, Gwinnett, Forsyth and surrounding communities.
