Poland. Business Adventure gala in Warsaw

Poland. Business Adventure is an internship scheme launched by the MFA and carried out along with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. The first edition of the programme welcomed one hundred successful candidates- residents of the European Union member states, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the United States of America, and Canada, aged 18-35. Thanks to the MFA's logistical and financial support, they are on three-month internships at 48 different companies in Poland. For the participants, this is not only an opportunity to build an international network and bond with the Polish business community, but also to get more familiar with the Polish culture, language, and history.

At the gala, Poland's top diplomat Radosław Sikorski and Deputy Foreign Minister Henryka Mościcka-Dendys spoke about the significance of Poland. Business Adventure for the awardees' careers and for business in Poland, and about the programme's major role in the context of the Polish government's diaspora policy, which focuses on returns, among other issues. Later, they handed certificates to the programme's participants and to the partner companies that offered them internships.

Work is under way to continue the business internship scheme directed towards members of the Polish diaspora and people of Polish descent from all over the world.
