Special Note for Flossmoor Commuters

Beginning today (Sept. 12) and into next week, asphalt grinding, patching & paving will take place on Flossmoor's downtown streets. Street parking and driving lanes will be temporarily closed. While you can still traverse the area, expect some delays. Reminders for commuters who use the Flossmoor train station:

• Give yourself more time to reach your destination.
• Follow the directions of the flaggers and Community Service Officers when present. They will let you proceed when it is safe.
• Both the North & South Commuter Lots will still be accessible - you may park in either lot whether you have a daily pass or quarterly pass during this time.
• Parking is also available in a limited number of Occasional Commuter spaces in the Flossmoor Public Library lot for those with valid Flossmoor vehicle stickers.
• No left turns are allowed at Flossmoor Road & Sterling Avenue M-F from 7:15-8 a.m. & 8:30-8:45 a.m. The South Commuter Lot can also be reached via Leavitt & Hawthorne, proceeding north on Sterling Ave.
