City Offices Closed - New Year's Day
Fort Madison City Offices will be closed Thursday, January 1, 2026, in observance of New Year's Day, and will reopen on Friday, January 2, 2026.
Sanitation schedule updates include Route B Recycling (west of 24th Street), which will be collected on Tuesday, December 30, and Thursday's garbage route, which will be collected on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Click here to view the 2026 Collection Schedule.
Please remember to set out your garbage before 6:00 a.m., as collection times may vary.
