Breakout Country Star Priscilla Block Joins Great New York State Fair Chevrolet Music Series

One of country music's boldest and most unapologetic breakout voices - Priscilla Block - will take the stage at the Great New York State Fair on Women's Day, Wednesday, September 2, at 6 p.m. at Chevy Court.

Block has achieved widespread success with her Platinum-certified track "Just About Over You," which topped the iTunes All-Genre and Country charts, and she scored her first number one hit with her duet with Justin Moore, "You, Me, And Whiskey," in 2023. With over 700 million global streams, she's made appearances on The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Tamron Hall Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and more. Her debut album, Welcome to the Block Party, garnered critical acclaim, earning a spot on The New York Times' "Best Albums of 2022," winning CMT's "Breakthrough Video of the Year," and earning her a nomination for the Academy of Country Music's "New Female Artist of the Year." She's opened for major artists like Shania Twain, Jon Pardi, Old Dominion, and Cole Swindell.

"The authenticity Priscilla Block brings to the stage make her a must-see artist for country fans," said Fair Director Julie LaFave. "Her performance promises to be a high-energy experience filled with infectious music and bold, genuine talent. We're excited to welcome her to our Women's Day lineup and look forward to sharing this special night with our fans!"

The Fair starts Wednesday, August 26, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 7. All concerts are included in the price of admission, which will go on sale later this summer. The Great New York State Fair is the most affordable state fair in the country. Tickets are $8 for adults while admission is free for children under 12 and senior citizens aged 65 and older.
