HACU holds pre-conference events at 39th Annual Conference

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities held two pre-conference events on Oct. 31, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado, the 14th Annual Deans' Forum and the Third Women's Leadership Symposium. Two additional preconference events are scheduled for Nov. 1, the 24th Annual Latino Higher Education Leadership Institute and the11th Annual PreK-12/Higher Education Collaboration Symposium. Approximately 200 attendees total participated in the preconference events.

The topics for the 14th Annual Deans' Forum focused on the theme, "Shaping Visionary Leaders for a Thriving and Democratic Future," and was geared to current and aspiring deans. The Third Women's Leadership Symposium featured panels and presentations for higher education professionals aspiring to leadership positions. The theme for the 24th Annual Latino Higher Education Leadership Institute, "Building Transformational Leaders at All Levels to Strengthen Democracy and Prosperity," reflects the focus on leadership strategies for faculty and administrative leaders. The 11th Annual PreK-12/Higher Education Collaboration Symposium presentations are focused on the theme, "Bridging Education for Lifelong Success: Innovation, Collaboration, and Life Readiness."

The preconference events are part of HACU's 39th Annual Conference, "Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success: Forging Transformational Leaders to Uplift Democracy and Prosperity," taking place Nov. 1-3, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado.
