PBI Extends Temporary Closure of Airport Exit

West Palm Beach, FL (Jan. 16, 2026) - Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) advises passengers, airport employees and the traveling public that the James L. Turnage Blvd. exit onto Australian Ave. will remain closed through Jan. 31, 2026.

During this closure, drivers are encouraged to use the airport exits via Belvedere Road at Congress Avenue or Belvedere Road at N. Florida Mango Road as alternate routes. All other airport roadways remain open and accessible. The northbound and southbound I-95 exits from the airport remain open.

Following completion of this phase of work, the entrance from Australian Avenue is expected to close for a similar duration. Details regarding the entrance closure will be announced at a later date. For updates and additional information, please visit pbia.org or follow PBI on social media.

Drivers should plan for extra travel time and follow all posted signage and traffic directions in the area. PBI appreciates the public's patience and cooperation as this necessary repair work is completed to maintain safe and reliable access to the airport.
