RESCHEDULED: Planned Overnight Power Outage in Central Great Falls for System Upgrade

Great Falls, Mont. - Sept. 9, 2026 - A planned power outage that will affect some NorthWestern Energy customers in portions of central Great Falls has been rescheduled and will take place from midnight to 5 a.m. Sept. 16.

The planned power outage will affect some customers in the area generally north of 10^th Avenue South to 3^rd Avenue South and west of 16^th Street South to 3^rd Street South.

Customers affected by the outage will receive an automated phone notification before the planned outage.

Crews will replace substation equipment that is nearing the end of its useful life. The work is necessary to maintain reliable electric service for customers.
