Various overnight lane closures throughout Clay County for concrete repair, Sept. 11- 15

CLAY COUNTY - The Missouri Department of transportation will be conducting various overnight lane closures from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. for concrete repair. Please see traffic modifications below.

Friday, September 11th at 7:00 p.m. until Saturday, September 12th at 6:00 a.m.

• Double lane closure on southbound Interstate 435 at 48th Street
• Single lane closure on northbound U.S. Route 69 at Palmer

Monday, September 14th at 7:00 p.m. until Tuesday, September 15th at 6:00 a.m.

• Single lane closure at southbound Missouri Route 291 at Missouri CT
• Single lane closure at northbound Missouri Route 291at Elizabeth Street

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
