Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 294.915 notice is hereby given for a public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Portland, Multnomah County, State of Oregon to Approve the Budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027. The Budget Committee will hold the meeting on May 18, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will carry the item over to May 19, 2026 at 2 p.m.
Under Portland City Code and state law, the City Council is holding this meeting in a hybrid format. Members of Council may attend in person or remotely by video and teleconference, and the City has made several avenues available for the public to listen to the audio broadcast of this meeting. Public comment will be taken at this meeting. The public will have the option of providing testimony using a live remote platform (Zoom) or in person at Portland City Hall, 1221 SW Fourth Avenue, Portland, OR 97204 in Council Chambers on the Second Floor. The meeting is available to the public to view live on the City's YouTube Channel, eGov PDX, https://www.youtube.com/@egovpdx8714 and Channel 30.
Those who wish to testify verbally during the hearing must sign up in advance at

This must be done in advance; comment applications are due at 4:00pm the day before the meeting. Sign up is required for both in-person and virtual testimony options. The FY 2026-27 Mayor's Proposed Budget document is available for inspection by the general public online at the City Budget Office's website: https://www.portland.gov/budget/2026-2027-budget/development/proposed. Hard print copies are available upon request at City of Portland 311 and may be inspected in the Portland Building, 1120 SW 5th Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97201 between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm.
