Connect with local government buyers at Clay County’s 10th Annual Procurement Conference

ORANGE PARK, FL. -- Businesses interested in selling their products or services to local government can connect with purchasing representatives and learn how to get started at the 10th Annual Clay County Procurement Conference on Thursday, November 12, 2026.

The 'Doing Business with Clay County' event will take place from 8 a.m. to noon at the Thrasher-Horne Center, 283 College Drive in Orange Park. Registration is $10 per person and includes breakfast.

A reverse trade show will give attendees the opportunity to meet purchasing representatives and learn about their organizations' procurement processes and vendor registration requirements. The program also includes a State of the County presentation and a government contracting agency panel to help businesses prepare to sell to local governments.

Expected participants include the Clay County Board of County Commissioners, Clay County School Board, Clay County Utility Authority, Clay County Sheriff's Office, Town of Orange Park, and Clay County Chamber of Commerce, with additional participants to be announced.

Breakfast and networking begin at 8 a.m., followed by the program at 8:30 a.m. The conference is presented by the Florida Small Business Development Center at the University of North Florida in partnership with Clay County.
