Media-Only Preview Ride on the KC Streetcar Main Street Extension

WHAT:

Media representatives are invited to take part in an exclusive ride on the new KC Streetcar Main Street Extension. This media-only event offers a first-hand experience of the expanded route, traveling from Union Station to UMKC and back. Members of the City's project team and the KC Streetcar Authority will be on board to provide information and respond to media requests.

WHEN:

Wednesday, October 15, 2025

9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

WHERE:

Meet at the Union Station Southbound Streetcar Stop (30 W. Pershing Rd., Kansas City, MO)

• Paid parking is available in the front lot or garage.
• Please do not park on or block the streetcar tracks.

DETAILS:

• Space is limited: only 1-2 representatives per media outlet. You must RSVP.
• Media are not permitted inside the operator cab when the streetcar is in motion.
• The ride will make a full loop: Union Station → Main Street Extension → Union Station.
