Washington, D.C. - This week, House Budget Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) celebrated House passage of legislation securing $1.9 billion for procurement of the B-21 Raider bomber.
"The first and most important job of the federal government is to provide for the common defense. That's why House Republicans are prioritizing investments in America's military superiority and our service members.
"I'm proud the House passed legislation securing $1.9 billion for procurement of the B-21 Raider, a critical investment in America's nuclear deterrence that will help solidify Dyess Air Force Base's mission for generations to come.
"With the B-21's arrival in the Big Country just over the horizon, I will never stop fighting to ensure our airmen at Dyess have the tools, resources, and support they need to continue being the tip of the spear of our nation's air arsenal." - Chairman Arrington.
