City of Sparks and Sierra Arts Foundation to Host New Sierra Arts Book Fest

Sparks, NV-In partnership with Sierra Arts Foundation, the City of Sparks will host the Sierra Arts Book Fest on Saturday, October 11, in downtown Victorian Square. This event celebrates northern Nevada's vibrant literary scene and will feature 28 local authors, poets, and illustrators representing a wide range of genres, including children's stories, regional nonfiction, romance, and psychological thrillers.

The free inaugural book fest will be held in front of the Depot Gallery and Bookstore, 831 Victorian Ave., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The family-friendly event will feature book readings, signings, kids' crafts, activities, food and beverage vendors, and a magical fairy village.

Attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite book character.
