Seimas will hear the State of the Nation Address by the President of the Republic of Lithuania

At a plenary sitting of the Seimas at 10:00 on Tuesday, 16 June 2026, Gitanas Nausėda, President of the Republic of Lithuania, will deliver the State of the Nation Address. This will be the second State of the Nation Address in his second term in office as President of the Republic.

As enshrined in Article 84 of the Constitution, the President presents annual reports to the Seimas on the situation in Lithuania as well as the domestic and foreign policies of the Republic of Lithuania.

As is tradition, the Head of State delivers the State of the Nation Address during the Seimas spring session.

The President's State of the Nation Address, with interpretation into English, will be available for live streaming on the Seimas YouTube channel.
