The event, which included high-level speakers and medical personnel from critical specialties, provided a platform to exchange knowledge and new practices regarding modern medical challenges and new treatments of autoimmune diseases.
In his statement, Mr. Davakis stated the following:
"Immunology is a critical field for modern medicine, as well as for the healthcare of Armed Forces personnel and citizens.
Knowledge, research, and the continuous training of our personnel ensure high-level care and support of those in need of it.
Our goal remains the continuous reinforcement of the Armed Forces' medical facilities. The Political Leadership of the Ministry of National Defence supports the work of the Naval Hospital of Athens with actions, investing in the further upgrade of its clinics and the provision of modern assets for our personnel.
I would like to congratulate the Command of the Naval Hospital of Athens, as well as the medical personnel of the Rheumatology Clinic, for their professionalism, dedication, devotion to duty, and the excellent organisation of this event."
