Ambassador Mkrtchyan Visits the International Metropolitan School in Athens
21 October, 2025At the invitation of the leadership of the International Metropolitan School (IMS), established in Athens in 1922, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Hellenic Republic, Tigran Mkrtchyan, paid a visit to the school.
Accompanied by the school's Director and Member of the Board of Trustees, Konstantina Valsamidi, and the school librarian, Ioanna Xenaki, the Ambassador toured the new secondary school building, which opened in 2022 in the Alimos district. He familiarized himself with the school's facilities and interacted with teachers and students.
During the visit, Ambassador Mkrtchyan presented the school with literature on Armenian culture and history, published in English, Greek, and Armenian.
