Celebrating Academic Excellence at Joint Base Lewis–McChord
Students, faculty, and leadership at Joint Base Lewis-McChord came together on Jan. 23 to celebrate academic excellence during the Stone Education Center's 2026 Military Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony, where they recognized outstanding student and faculty achievements from the past year. University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) proudly honored two exceptional student awardees: SSG Tamaria Johnson and SSG Verner Harris IV.
