PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - The Bureau of Land Management invites public and stakeholder input on off-highway vehicle grant proposals for submission to the California State Parks Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division 2026 grant cycle. These grants support off-highway vehicle management activities, including visitor services, law enforcement, resource protection, planning and monitoring, and maintenance on BLM-managed public lands.
Public comments must be submitted to the appropriate field office by March 2.
The BLM will host several in-person and virtual meetings. Attendees can join online via Microsoft Teams, by phone, or in-person at select locations:
Needles Field Office - Wednesday, Feb. 11
Ridgecrest Field Office - Wednesday, Feb. 11
Palm Springs-South Coast Field Office - Tuesday, Feb. 17
Barstow Field Office - Tuesday, Feb. 17
El Centro Field Office - Monday, Feb. 23
Preliminary applications will be available for public review and comment March 3-May 4 at https://ohv.parks.ca.gov or by submitting written comments to the appropriate field office:
