Free Webinar June 30: Tennessee Resale Certificates

NASHVILLE -- The Department of Revenue will host a free webinar on obtaining and using Tennessee resale certificates on June 30 at 9 a.m. Central time.

During this webinar, participants will learn the proper procedures for obtaining and using Tennessee resale certificates. This session will also provide guidance on required documentation, appropriate use, and common compliance issues.

The Department of Revenue is responsible for administering state tax laws and motor vehicle title and registration laws, as well as collecting taxes and fees associated with those laws. The department collects about 87 percent of the total state revenue. During the 2025 fiscal year, it collected $21 billion in state taxes and fees and more than $5 billion in local taxes and fees.
