TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - Upcoming I-95/Rt 896 Interchange Traffic Pattern Changes
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that overnight from Thursday September 25 into Friday September 26 there will be significant traffic pattern changes as part of the I-95/Rt 896 Interchange Project. (All work weather permitting)
RAMP OPENING: The new Rt 896 southbound to I-95 northbound ramp will open to traffic. Rt 896 NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGE: Northbound Rt 896 between Old Baltimore Pike and the I-95 interchange and the northbound Rt 896 to northbound I-95 on-ramp will be closed overnight Thursday September 25 into Friday September 26 to remove the "contra-flow" traffic pattern on northbound Rt 896. (All work weather permitting)
