NOTICE OF PAVING & DETOUR - SEASHORE RD (CR 626) LOWER TOWNSHIP

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ -- Weather permitting, on October 13th and 14th, 2025, South Jersey Gas will be completing final paving restoration along Seashore Road in Lower Township south of the canal associated with a previous gas main installation. The extent of the resurfacing will begin at New England Road (CR 641) and will extend south along Seashore Road toward Stimpson Lane (CR 645). The resurfacing will consist of 2" milling and paving of either the lane and/or shoulders within impacted areas of previous gas main construction.

To safely execute the work, southbound traffic along Seashore Road will be detoured onto New England Road (Cr 641) west to Bayshore Road (CR 607) then continue south along Bayshore Road to Stimson Lane (CR 645). Traffic will then be directed east along Stimpson Lane back to Seashore Road. Northbound traffic will be maintained. The paving hours are estimated to be from 7:00am to 5:00pm. Normal traffic patterns will resume Monday night and upon completion of the paving on Tuesday night.

Residents and emergency services will always have access through the work zone. Motorists are urged to use caution when approaching and driving through the work zone.
