The City of Columbia is temporarily expanding City ordinance Sec. 14-295 to these times to better accommodate for the home game start time. During these hours, anyone ordering on a rideshare app downtown will be directed to the nearest stand for pickup. Rideshare drivers will also be instructed to pick up their passengers at the proper rideshare stand. The parking meters in these areas will be bagged and there will be Taxi Stand signage, which includes rideshares.
This change is intended to keep traffic flowing on downtown's main arterial roads and will significantly improve the movement of people into and out of the area.
