Public Workshop: Addressing Vermont’s Energy Affordability

The Vermont Public Utility Commission (PUC) invites the public to participate in a workshop on Case No. 25-0443-INV, focused on household energy affordability and equity.

This workshop will explore how energy costs affect Vermont households and communities and will gather input on potential strategies to reduce financial burdens and improve energy access for everyone.

Participants will hear updates from state and community leaders and have the opportunity to share perspectives, ideas, and experiences.

Join the workshop on Tuesday, October 14, 7PM.

Vermonters are encouraged to share their thoughts about:
• The best ways to provide assistance to consumers who need help with their energy bills and costs;
• Challenges with accessing assistance;
• Positive or negative experiences with current assistance programs; and
• Anything else related to energy burden.

The Commission has developed a short survey to help gather input about programs to address energy burden.
