Campbell University will begin welcoming the Class of 2030 when new student orientation begins next week. Nearly 800 incoming freshmen and transfer students are expected to take part over the four days, the first two running June 26-27 and the final two July 10-11.

The daylong introduction to Campbell and college life is an "important milestone in the enrollment journey," said Dean Clark, vice president for enrollment management.

"It's exciting to see our incoming students transition from applicants to members of the Camel community, and we look forward to welcoming them, supporting their transition and ensuring they're ready for a memorable move-in weekend and a strong start to the academic year," Clark said. "Our team has worked tirelessly to design an Orientation experience that meets students and families where they are, providing the information, support and sense of belonging they need."

The day includes sessions for students and parents and the Camel Connect Expo, where students are introduced to several on-campus organizations and have the opportunity to complete actionable items to better prepare them for move-in weekend in August. Students will also have an opportunity to tour residence halls and other buildings on campus.
