Community Alert: Suspect Search
At approximately 4:50 PM today, Flossmoor Police conducted a traffic stop at Western Avenue and Flossmoor Road. The driver exited the vehicle and fled eastbound into the Flossmoor Park neighborhood near Carroll Parkway and Evans Road. During a search of the vehicle, officers recovered a handgun. Police are actively searching for the individual, a black male in a black shirt and black pants. Residents may notice an increased police presence in the neighborhood as the search for the suspect continues.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 911.
