CHICAGO - The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that repairs by Canadian National Railroad to the crossing on Illinois 59 (Sutton Road) south of Struckman Boulevard, in Barlett, will require a full closure starting, weather permitting, 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2.

A detour will use Army Trail Road, County Farm Road and Lake Street (U.S. 20). The work is being overseen by the railroad and is expected to be completed by 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7.

The public should expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to detour signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
