Public Meeting: Santa Fe Regional Airport Access Road Project

The Santa Fe Regional Airport (SAF) will hold a public meeting to discuss a proposed new access road project. The project would connect the NM Highway 599-Jaguar Road interchange to Aviation Drive, just east of the new airport parking area. The project area includes a 500- to 800-foot-wide study corridor between the interchange and the parking area, as shown in the map below.

The purpose of the meeting is to present why the project is needed, review alternatives currently under consideration, and share the project schedule. Information will also be presented, and public comments will be solicited, on environmental issues, community and business concerns, and landscape and aesthetic treatments.

Project displays, information, and project representatives will be available to address questions. A presentation will be given, followed by an opportunity for additional public comment. Refreshments will be provided.

Public input will be accepted at any time; however, comments and questions specific to this meeting are requested by April 30, 2026.
