Company Announcement

Arden, NC - October 7th 2026 - Eden Brothers LLC is recalling Calabrese Broccoli Seeds in Packet, 1 Ounce and 1 Pound sizes (Eden Brothers lots 1022067 and 1022068; supplier lot W4105) because we were informed by our supplier that they may be contaminated with Salmonella.

Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. In rare cases, a Salmonella infection can enter the bloodstream and cause more severe illness.

Eden Brothers was notified by its supplier that the seeds may be contaminated with Salmonella. Eden Brothers stopped sales of the affected lots and is notifying customers directly. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The products were sold through Eden Brothers online sales at EdenBrothers.com and Amazon.com from July 8 through September 28, 2026, depending on product size. Product was shipped to customers nationwide.

Anyone who shared these seeds with others should let them know about the recall.

Eden Brothers is offering a full refund for the recalled seeds. To request a refund, customers should complete the recall reply form, and an Eden Brothers team member will follow up.
