Chinese Ambassador to Somalia Wang Yu Meets With Minister of Commerce and Industry of Somalia Gamal Mohamed Hassan
On January 25, H.E. Wang Yu, Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, met with H.E. Gamal Mohamed Hassan, the newly-in-office Minister of Commerce and Industry of Somalia.
Ambassador Wang said that the Chinese side will work with the Somali side to strengthen the economic and trade cooperation, with the ongoing emphasis on promoting the implementation of the zero-tariff treatment for 100 percent tariff lines and other significant measures, so as to contribute to the national development and improvement of people's livelihood of Somalia, and foster the shared interests of both countries.
Minister Gamal expressed appreciation for China's support to Somalia's development and construction, and said that Somalia is ready to enhance the win-win cooperation with China in the economic and trade fields.
