Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Mr. Nasser Bourita received on Thursday in Rabat Mr. Sering Modou Njie, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, Special Envoy of Gambian President Mr. Adama Barrow, bearer of a written message to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

In a press statement following the talks, Njie lauded the friendly and brotherly ties uniting the two countries, as well as the shared willingness to bolster the bilateral strategic partnership, in line with the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President Mr. Adama Barrow.

The Gambia's top diplomat also praised the excellent relations binding the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of the Gambia, and the cordial and mutually beneficial ties, grounded in shared values of friendship, brotherhood and solidarity.

He also reiterated his country's firm determination to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest.
