Hundreds get free medical, dental and vision care at Anaheim Convention Center

ANAHEIM, Calif. (Sept. 20, 2025)- More than 500 people took part in free dental, vision and other medical care at the Anaheim Convention Center on Saturday.

Attendees included those without health insurance, with limited access to doctors or those just wanting the convenience of same-day care.

The event served Anaheim residents and those from throughout the region.

For many, it may be the only time this year they see a doctor.

Many came for dental care with teeth cleanings, fillings and extractions. Others came for eye exams and glasses made on the spot. Still others came for women's care, physicals and other care.

Now in its 19th year, the Anaheim Health Fair spanned 145,000 square feet of space at the convention center.

A range of services, tests and consultations were available, all at no cost with no insurance copayments

Along with dental, vision and women's care, the event also included Dental exams, fillings, electrocardiogram heart tests, blood tests, flu shots and chiropractic, acupuncture and alternative medicine.

The health fair was made possible by some 150 doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals who volunteered their time, expertise, equipment and more to care for those in need.

The annual health fair, which started during the Great Recession and continues to meet the needs of those with healthcare access challenges today, is a hallmark Anaheim event, bringing together the city, healthcare providers and the community.

All were welcome, whether from Anaheim or outside the city and regardless of background, including immigration status.

The next Anaheim Health Fair will be in late 2026. Continue to check Anaheim.net/healthfairfor details for next year's event.
