Keep Tyler Beautiful invites the community to participate in a day of service at Fun Forest Pool, located at 900 N Glenwood Blvd. on Saturday, September 20. Volunteers will help paint, plant and clean up the area to revitalize and refresh the space, creating a vibrant and welcoming look as the pool is prepared for next year.
Check-in begins at 8 a.m., the event officially kicks off at 9 a.m., and lasts until noon. Volunteers who pre-register will receive a free event t-shirt, and lunch will be provided for all participants. Giveaways will be held during lunch to celebrate the community's hard work.
"Park Service Day is about neighbors working side by side to improve the places we all share," said Casey Williams, Keep Tyler Beautiful Coordinator. "This project at Fun Forest Pool will help breathe new life into a space that holds so much community history."
