Significant Incidents

WEAPON RECOVERY: On 9/6/2026 at 3:32 PM HPD responded to Ruus Park regarding a subject reportedly tagging the men's and women's restrooms. Upon arrival, officers located a group of known subjects having a BBQ and filming a music video. During the investigation, two subjects failed to comply with officers' commands and fled on foot. Officers pursued the subjects and detained one of the subjects. A firearm was recovered during the detention. (Report #2026-049778)

VEHICLE RECOVERY: On 9/10/2026 at 7:55 AM HPD received an alert for a stolen vehicle in the area of W. Tennyson Rd and I-880. Officers located the vehicle traveling eastbound on W. Tennyson Rd and conducted a traffic stop. The vehicle was recovered and officers safely detained the driver and passenger of the vehicle. (Report #2026-050503)
