Open house on Utilities long-term planning

Published October 1 2026

What will Bellevue's water, sewer and stormwater systems need to serve the community for the next 10 years? Bellevue Utilities is updating its long-term plans to help ensure these essential services remain safe, reliable and ready to meet the needs of a growing and changing city.

Community members are invited to learn more and share their input at an upcoming open house Monday, Oct. 5, 3:30-5:30 p.m. at Bellevue Library, 1111 110th Ave. NE. This informal, drop-in event is an opportunity to:

  • Talk with Utilities staff about proposed long-term investments and priorities.
  • Ask questions about how the systems serve the community today and what may be needed in the future.
  • Share feedback that can help shape Utilities' 10-year plans.

"These plans are about more than infrastructure; they're about planning for the services our community depends on every day," said Utilities Director Lucy Liu. "We want to hear from community members about what matters to them as we plan for the next 10 years."
