ATLANTA, April 16, 2026 - Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of a newly constructed two-tenant retail center in Covington, Georgia. The asset traded for $4,141,037.
"This new-construction, two-tenant strip center received strong interest from 1031 buyers due to its positioning in the path of growth among national retailers like Publix and Chick-fil-A," said Zach Taylor, senior managing director investments. "We leveraged our firm's legendary access to that buyer pool to execute for the developer."
Zach Taylor, Don McMinn, and Eric Abbott of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, WDG Real Estate Partners. The buyer, a private Atlanta-based investor, was procured by Brian Munn of Marcus & Millichap.
Built in 2024, the approximately 7,500-square-foot center is anchored by Peachtree Immediate Care, a Georgia-based urgent care operator affiliated with Emory Healthcare, and Mattress Warehouse, a national retailer with more than 500 locations. Both tenants occupy the property under corporate-guaranteed triple-net leases.
The property is located along Alcovy Road, directly across from a Publix-anchored shopping center, and is surrounded by national retailers including Chick-fil-A, Dunkin' and Zaxby's.
