"Iowa Farm Bureau members welcome EPA's announcement of continued access of E15 fuel for the summer months and the benefits it will provide.

By lifting restrictions, consumers have access to this lower-cost option at the gas pump, and the resulting demand for homegrown fuels will support Iowa's farm families and rural communities while boosting American energy independence.

We are urging Congress to make the availability of E15 permanent. E15 saves consumers 10 to 30 cents per gallon at the pump and promotes domestic energy production with a cleaner burning fuel.

As the nation's leader in biofuels production, Iowa Farm Bureau members appreciate the strong bipartisan support for legislation that would provide consumers with this affordable and sustainable fuel option all year long."
